Ready for an immersive journey to discover the best bread in the world and the unique flavors of Puglia?
The experience begins at our bakery, active since 1300 and among the oldest in Italy.
You will have the opportunity to attend a practical demonstration of the preparation of the dough for the most famous bread in the world, discovering the magic of sourdough and the goodness of local flours.
Kneading, breaking, folding and baking: don't miss a step!
Then roll up your sleeves to actively participate in the Focaccia Pugliese preparation workshop: "cazza" the tomatoes, add a drizzle of oil and off to the oven

Orecchiette Lab:
outside the oven, grandma Graziella and grandma Teresa are waiting for you, ready to teach you the noble art of making orecchiette (typical fresh handmade pasta). Water, flour and good will: you can't leave Puglia without knowing how to make orecchiette
the tour continues on foot towards the Federiciana Cathedral, the heart of Altamura where we will make a short stop at the Bar-Wine Bar “Piano B”.
Here you will taste the best of the local cured meats and cheeses while sipping excellent Apulian wines specially selected from a cellar that has more than 500 bottles, all in a unique atmosphere with a view of the Cathedral.
Once this experience is over, a few meters away we will indulge in a sweet moment with almond sweets, Tette delle Monache and Padre Peppe, the Altamura liqueur.
